Exploring Higher Education: Uncovering Opportunities at the University Fair

On Friday June 23rd,,2023, Oxford International School held a university fair for the students of 11th and 12th grade.

Texas A&M University

Colleges and universities such as Texas A&M, Florida State University, University of Louisville, and many others presented their programs and scholarships for those who are interested in applying. The options for universities were not only limited to the United States! There were a variety of colleges students could attend in Europe as well, such as De Montfort University in England, University of Europe for Applied Sciences in Germany, John Cabot University in Italy, and many more options to choose from.

Florida State University

The purpose of this event was to help students direct themselves onto a new path, and inspire them to look forward to their college experience. Many students in their final years of high school struggle with deciding what university to attend, or if they want to attend college at all. Events like these not only simplify the college selection process, but it also aims to align students with their desired majors, making the transition smoother and more tailored to their interests.

The university fair at OIS was a resounding success, enjoyed by both the students and the college consultants. In the future, many more projects like this will certainly be planned for the upcoming promotions.
