The fair aimed to teach students various entrepreneurial skills, such as establishing a budget, organizing their stands, working in groups, catering to the right audience, and other aspects of marketing.

The student’s commitment was evident through their highly imaginative marketing tactics as well as the sheer time and effort they put into this project. “We’ve been working on this since the first bimester and we’ve put in so much effort”, said Lucie Berard, a student from 9th grade whose business was based on the sale of custom bracelets. Additionally, at the end of the event, 5% of their income would go to a fundraiser of their choice.

To sum it up, the event not only provided a platform for students to exhibit their creative business ideas but also imparted valuable lessons in the world of business that will certainly come in handy for many in the future. “I’ve learned a lot about tolerance and teamwork,” added Lucie. Undoubtedly, the fair served as an example of how hands-on experiences can cultivate essential life skills in young minds.
