National FANLYC Fundraiser

Last Friday, June 16th, and Saturday, June 17th, a group of 11th and 12th grade students from the Oxford International School (OIS) participated as volunteers in the annual fundraiser for the Fundación Amigos de Niños con Leucemia y Cáncer (Fanlyc).

FANLYC is a non-profit organization with the goal of helping kids with leukemia and cancer diagnosis. They offer services such as medicines, transport, psycho-social support, among others.

The event took place in various provinces around national territory. The volunteers wore blue T-shirts with the organization’s name, and they were placed in different strategic points across the capital city. Those who participated in the event showed great enthusiasm and dedication by collaborating with this initiative.
